About Lauren Hopkins
Originally hailing from a small town in the North Island to now being a proud New Brighton resident since 2006. Having lived in South New Brighton and the Christchurch Central area throughout her early years in the Garden City, Lauren is passionate about her community, Christchurch and the Eastside.
She has a background in cleaning, merchandising, customer service, community volunteering to working in a rest home where she became a jill of all trades taking on multiple roles in her time there. Her initial job title was of casual housekeeping to then permanent part-time where she was also thrown into the role of kitchenhand, 2nd chef and guest services in the apartment studios area. Whilst studying and gaining her level 2 and 3 certificate in health wellbeing she also volunteered her time running arts/craft/events/entertainment and earned herself a role as activities co-ordinator.
Lauren has been married to her husband since 2009 and has three daughters (eldest are twins).
Her tenacity, energy, warmth, compassion and creativity are what provide you with an excellent customer experience, along with her love and appreciation for all things home, design and DIY. She believes in attention to detail whilst being efficient.
