Twenty one plus years of family holidays are drawing to a close. Built and owned by the same family all these years, it is time to pass the enjoyment to another. This is a property which could be a perfect spot for your "weekender" or you may be tempted to join growing numbers of Cantabrians retiring to Banks Peninsula to partake of the holiday lifestyle all year round. High above the village, with spectacular views of the harbour, Akaroa, and across to the hills and mountains on the other side of the harbour. There is an abundance of birdlife, including bellbirds, tuis, quails and native wood pigeons, which often visit the native bush which thrives on the neighbouring section. If you want to be closer to the action, it is just a ten minute walk to the village with all its 'world famous' waterfront pleasures. We can see there is value to add by updating and modernising if a new owner wished to undertake this, or perhaps imprint their own personality.
